The WattStopper WS-250 Passive Infrared (PIR) Wall Switch Sensor turns lighting on and off based on room occupancy and ambient light level. This line-of-sight motion relay sensor has a range of up to 1,050 square feet and also has an adjustable time delay to account for periods of inactivity or low activity by room occupants. The light level sensor will also turn the lights off if natural light levels are sufficient. It replaces existing wall switches and fits behind a standard decorator wall plate.

A WattStopper occupancy sensor has the flexibility to work in a variety of applications including offices, conference rooms, break rooms and utility rooms. Energy savings for these areas can be as high as 60 percent because lighting will no longer remain on once the room is vacant. The successor to the WS-200, the Watt Stopper WS-250 improves on its design with shallow-profile housing and a control button that provides better feedback. Use it with any electronic ballast on 120-277 voltage systems to automatically control the lighting in your commercial or industrial space without the need for manual switches.
