Nora Lighting’s recessed IC housings are lightweight units ideal for use in insulated ceilings in new construction applications. Their airtight construction cuts down on energy costs by reducing the amount of conditioned air that can escape through the ceiling. Rated for direct contact with insulation and combustive materials, Nora IC housings install quickly and easily, and they are compatible with retrofit LED modules and a wide selection of attractive Nora trims. These IC housings are direct contact rated, so no minimum clearance is required. The housing adjusts from 5/8 inches to 1-3/8" inches to accommodate various ceiling thicknesses. An adjustable socket mounting plate enables different types of lamps to be used, maximizing light distribution. You can remove the socket from its plate for adjustable trims. These wet location listed housings come with a one-year warranty from Nora. Two bar hangers included.
