Nora 4" IC Air-Tight Line Voltage New Construction Housing

This 4-inch IC-rated, air tight housing is suitable for new construction applications. Air tight housings increase energy savings by restricting the transfer of conditioned air to the plenum above the fixture. This housing is rated for direct contact with thermal insulation. Two bar hangers included.

This Nora 4-inch IC-rated housing accepts 120V input and comes with a medium base E26 lamp socket. Compatible with retrofit LED modules and many different Nora trims, this new construction housing is 6 inches high with a 4-inch aperture and a 4 3/8-inch ceiling cutout. It will install in either plaster or drywall ceilings. Nora Lighting offers a one-year manufacturer's warranty on this recessed lighting housing. The housing includes pre-installed gaskets to restrict airflow from room into ceiling plenum. An adjustable socket mounting plate allows different types of lamps to be used for the best possible light distribution. The socket can be removed from the socket plate for adjustable trims.

Requires LED retrofit module (or lamp and trim).
