Nora 2" Iolite IC Air-Tight Line Voltage Remodel Housing

Item Description

This 2-inch IC-rated, air tight housing is suitable for remodel applications where you need to install your can light into an existing ceiling. Simply cut a hole in your ceiling, wire up the housing, and insert it up and into the ceiling through the hole. High-tension steel springs will secure the housing to the ceiling. Ceiling material thickness can be from 1/4" minimum up to 5/8" maximum. This 2" remodel housing is IC-rated for direct contact with thermal insulation. In addition, it is air tight in order to minimize the wasteful transfer of conditioned air from the room below up into the unconditioned ceiling plenum cavity.

Featuring universal 120V and 277V input, this housing is compatible with forward phase Triac dimmers, ELV dimmers, and 0-10V dimming systems (0-10V dimming only at 277V).

A frame-in kit is available for new construction applications.

Requires Nora LED Iolite series fixture.
