The Maxim Lighting StarStrand Rainbow Aqua Star 24 is a waterproof IP68 rated, color-changing RGB LED tape light that is surrounded by a chemical and UV resistant pliable plastic cover. With the weatherproof controller, it can have 9 modes of color and movement. Combining its weatherproof construction and RGB chips make this tape light a great fit for outdoor installations where you either a specific color or color-changing abilities. It is suitable for use in swimming pools, fountains, outdoor living areas, landscape lighting, outdoor architectural accent lighting, outdoor walkways, and any location that is subject to moisture.

With their StarStrand line, Maxim Lighting has perfected the "tape light". Each pre-manufactured segment comes with male/female connectors built into each end, making it a breeze to interconnect additional tape light segments, as well as a variety of accessories, connectors, controllers, and drivers to suite your projects needs. Please note that no 3M adhesive backing is provided on the Rainbow Aqua Star 24.

The Rainbow Aqua Star 24 uses a water-tight Outdoor IP68 connection type, which is a gasketed screw-style connector, roughly 0.75" in diameter. A 24v RGB Controller is required to adjust color (sold separately).

Maximum run indicated is "per driver". However, with the use of amplifiers, you can control several hundred feet from a single controller.
