Upgrade existing HID shoebox area light fixtures to LED with this unique LED Area Light HID Retrofit Lamp from Halco. This lamps ships and installs as a standard profile HID lamp. But once it is in place, and easily rotated to the correct orientation thanks to its rotating base, the sides of the lamp fold down to provide high output directional light over a 160-degree beam angle. This focused downward light from your area light fixture maximizes the efficiency of the retrofit.

Outputting 10,000 lumens of bright white light, this 80-watt ballast bypass HID retrofit lamp can replace traditional 250-watt metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps, saving you approximately 75% on your electric bill. It is also wet location rated, is suitable for use in enclosed luminaires, and includes 4kV surge protection to protect the lamp from power surges and spikes, allowing for years of uninterrupted use.
