The Ruler 2 6-inch LED fixture is a slim and low-profile task light. It’s an energy-saving and money-saving alternative to more traditional incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent bulbs, as it produces 140 lumens of light output using just 2.5 watts of energy. It has a rated lifespan of 30,000 hours, which makes it ideal for use in office spaces where frequent changing of bulbs is costly and inconvenient. These types of task lighting fixtures are also frequently used as under-cabinet lights in kitchens. The color temperature of 2700K provides a comfortable warm white light that’s suitable for kitchens, bathroom, offices and other high-use areas. LED lamps give off more focused light than incandescent or fluorescent bulbs. They also emit less heat, which lowers air conditioning costs. Unlike fluorescent bulbs, LED lamps contain no mercury, making them an eco-friendly alternative.
